Blaga leads Kustomer’s Engineering Development Department, partnering closely with our Founders to build and scale our product.
Blaga brings a background in building and managing high growth teams and products. As well as an extensive history in developing scalable solutions for Fortune 500 companies. She is passionate about mentoring, building inclusive and diverse culture, and helping technology teams accelerate delivery.
Most recently, Blaga was VP of Engineering at Intent, the data science company for the world’s leading travel and ecommerce brands. There she focused on building a world-class team and expanding the technology platform into new verticals beyond travel, successfully establishing partnerships with companies such as Microsoft and Zappos.
Prior to Intent, Blaga was a founding member of Voyat, a guest retention platform for the hospitality industry. She worked directly with the founders to build and scale the company from day one through acquisition, while building and launching technology in high-end hotels world-wide.
Blaga graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering from Oakland University. She started her career as an engineer at a software development agency focusing on delivering solutions to large organizations, such as General Dynamics, Ford, KPMG, Grant Thornton, Kaiser Permanente, and more. There she gained invaluable experience working on a wide-range of large scale projects across a variety of industries.
Blaga is also a co-organizer and member of the NY CTO Club, an invitation-only group of senior technologists, who meet monthly to share ideas and expertise. She enjoys building community and bringing people together by creating meaningful monthly events, as well as by putting on quarterly events for the growing women’s subgroup of the CTO Club.
In her free time, Blaga enjoys spending time with her husband and son, and getting outdoors as much as possible.
